The wait is finally over!
One of Southern California's favorite fall beach volleyball traditions is back, and this year's Volley4Sound Halloween Edition is going to be bigger, louder, and spookier than ever (even while wearing earplugs 😉).
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 17, 2026 and join us in beautiful Hermosa Beach, California for a day of volleyball, costumes, music, fundraising, and community as we raise awareness for hearing loss and support organizations serving the deaf and hard of hearing community.
What started as a unique charity volleyball tournament has become a Halloween tradition that our volleyball community looks forward to every year. We've waited far too long for another Volley4Sound, and we're excited to bring everyone back together on the sand for an unforgettable day.
🚨 Registration Opens Monday, September 14th at 8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM ESTVolley4Sound sells out every year, so set your alarms and register early!

✅ Team roster changes can be made later
💰 Early Bird Pricing
✅ All teams registered by September 30th will receive event shirts for every player.
❌ Teams registered on or after October 1st will not receive event shirts.
Register before October 1st to take advantage of Early Bird pricing and guarantee shirts for your entire team.

🏆 Which Division Should I Play?
🏐 Unrated Division ("Jungle Ball") - This division is for players who have never played before or maybe only touch a volleyball once a year, and only because of Volley4Sound! You're here purely for the cause, not the competition. Most players don't know what CBVA is, and the game usually looks like "jungle ball" with the ball going over on one. Zero pressure, just laughs and fun.
🏐 A Division - For recreational players who have some experience, can pass the ball, and have at least heard of CBVA. Most players fall around the B, BB, or A level. You've got decent ball control and enjoy a competitive match, but you're not quite ready for the intensity of AA.
🏐 AA Division - This division is for strong, competitive players who regularly play in CBVA or other tournaments. You have solid ball control, can pass, set, and hit with consistency, and are looking for quality competition.
🏐 Open Division - The highest level of play. Designed for elite players who compete at the AAA or Open level. If you want the toughest matchups and highest level of competition, this is your division.

- Coed 4's Beach Volleyball Tournament
- Must have at least one female player
- North Side of the Hermosa Beach Pier
- Four divisions to fit every skill level:
- Unrated
- A
- AA
- Open
- Earplug Challenge during pool play to raise hearing loss awareness
- Silent Auction
- Pro Player Auction
- Raffles & Giveaways
- Music throughout the day
- Official Volley4Sound Event Shirts (for teams registered by September 30th)

We'll also host an online silent auction. Details to come soon. Proceeds from the silent auction go towards the non-profit organization.
Participate in Social Media Contest
Follow us on Social Media to join our cause! There will be social media contests where contestants will watch a muted clip and will guess what was said for a lip-reading challenge. Winners will be entered a chance to win a prize.
Fans will also have the opportunity to walk in the shoes of the deaf by being challenged to wear earplugs for a day and posting about their experience and what they found difficult. By tagging our Instagram page Volley4Sound they will be given a chance to win a giveaway prize.
